Bid in the new year with a wild trip back to the '60s as retro rockers Billy Miller & the Love Brothers and The Substitutes windmill us into 2013 on Monday December 31 with the Flying Saucer New Year's Eve Party!
Local legend Billy Miller (Ferrets singer, 1976-9) and band The Love Brothers lead in the Flying Saucer Club's charge into 2013 with their brand of off-kilter frenzied madness. The nine-year (and counting!) residents at St. Kilda’s George Public Bar will whip out a rollicking mix of Ferrets originals plus Small Faces, The Kinks, Stones, Monkees and other vintage era classics to bring a little Flower Power to the new year.
Joining Billy Miller come The Substitutes, who will take us for an amazing ride in the Flying Saucer back in time to the 60′s – a night of British Invasion, peace, love & psychedelia - performing songs from The Beatles, The Who, The Zombies, The Easybeats, The Animals and stacks more!
Billy will join The Substitutes at the end of the night and who knows what will happen??!!
