Announcing Sapphire Coast's inaugural Rock & Roll dancefest with Shadoogie & Itchy Fingers on Saturday, 6th March 2010 to be held at Merimbula's Club Sapphire.

Dance workshops from 1 - 3.30pm with Jivecatz & Harro's Hoppers.

Things are reving up around here and the town is really beginning to get behind the project..

We have had an excellent response from the Canberra Rock and Roll Clubs and quite a few bookings already from our Melbourne friends. so I think we will be in for a great night.

The boys from Itchy Fingers are "itching" to get here and it will be interesting to see who takes out the traditional, Shadoogie "Coolest Ride" trophy for the first time in Merimbula...........What a Buzz it would be for a Melbourne rod, or Classic to pick it up......My roadster won't be ready for the Dance, but it will provide stiff competition for the 2011 Festival main Dance.

Anyway, thanks again for your support for the event and we look forward to seeing you if you can make it up here.............

Only about a 6 hour trip straight up the Princess Highway from Dandenong with a couple of refreshment stops.
