I attended the Northside rock n roll hop in Epping for the first time and I must say a well run dance, with Cliver working tirelessly to tidy tables, make everyone feel at home, and welcome guests from far and wide (Perth, etc) Dj Jeff keeping the floor humming with great classic rock n roll hits like Brenda Lees, coming home to you. I used to play that song over and over years back and always wondered if it was danceable. Well, it was, bit of west coast to start off then slipped into rock n roll. The venue is very classy. Probably the best lookin set up in Melbourne, friendly crowd, i was stuffed come midnight and Itchy Fingers played a great set as usual .thanks to cliver and his crew at Northside. tezza
Well done Tezza, Northside Rock & Hop is a great place to dance very well run,Clive has it down to the second I think, it all runs like a well oiled machine, great floor and great bunch of people,we love the opportunity to go and dance there, Itchy are always a knock-out,fantastic dance music, very friendly band. Clive was threatening to throw a bucket of water on me , I was stuffed at the end of the night, and travelling a little slow, Clive thought I was asleep.
We again had a great time @ northside.
And well worth the drive hey Terry! Always a good night at Northside and looking forward to the next one on the 11th of Dec. Already marked in the calendar, just need to remember to keep a bit of energy for the long drive home.
Thanks Geoff & Tezza for the favourable comments....& thanks to all who choose to come to Northside Rock when your lifestyle permits, your support & company is appreciated.
I just run the dance the only way I know how....straight & honest....
One more to go this year & then back in 2010

A Good Dance is worth the time it takes to get there.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance!"
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
