First time band at Gully
Sunday 26th July sees Warrnambool's Dusty Rhodes and The Dangerous Curves belt out some classic 50’s & 60’s rock & roll preachin’ at the ‘Church of Rock’. The silky tones of 'Dusty' combined with the foot tappin’ rhythms of 'The Dangerous Curves' have entertained many who have attended their gigs.
Fifty's frock and pinstripe suits are a visual that blends in well with their early rock sound. The combination will transport you back in time when the queen of rock & roll … Wanda Jackson and Janis Martin were topping the charts with songs like ‘Hard Headed Woman' and 'My Boy Elvis'.
This band plays old time Rock & Roll at its very best! Hep Cat 50's dance music in a pre-digital, authentic style. It’s raw … it’s fresh ... it's as distinctive as a signature!
Band members are: Dusty Rhodes (Vocals), Phil Jones (Guitar), Drew Deppeler (Bass), Dave Lodge (Keyboard) and Raff Marino (Drums)
Dusty Rhodes and The Dangerous Curves' will have you in a lather of sweat coz you'll be hypnotised with the classics and won't be able to keep your feet off the dance floor! I’m sure these outta-towners will receive a warm and friendly welcome by the Gully congregation.
