Hi, I am the mother of a 13 year old lead guitarist in an all kid (12,13,13,14,16) AC/DC tribute band in the USA. High Voltage might be kids, but they know how to ROCK and put on one helluva show. They play all over Colorado, and some neighboring states as well. They have been on numerous radio shows, in newspaper articles, etc. They even were sent personally autographed Black Ice LP's from AC/DC themselves! When people hear "kid band" they think they are some cutesy act that can play ok. Let me assure you, Voltage ROCKS, they have been compared to a kid version of AC/DC. They are entertaining, musically gifted, confident, and energetic. Plus they are just darn good kids. They DREAM of playing in Australia someday, as I think they have said that is where AC/DC got their start, or might even reside. Their BIGGEST dream is to MEET AC/DC, although I know that is probably impossible. I am trying soooooooo hard to help these kids in any way that I can, and thought I could send some demos out to some clubs out there, and see if there would POSSIBLY be any interest from anyone in having these kids visit someday. Money is scarce for us parents - we were recently invited to have the kids play at the notorious VIPER ROOM inHollywood, CA, but cannot come up with the funds. I am simply hoping someone out there might have the resources to help these talented youngsters realize their dreams. It's probably crazy of me to think this would happen, but ya never know unless you try, right? I am going to leave you with some links at the bottom of this letter, you can check them out if you are interested. Keep in mind the videos are not made with good quality equipment, and that the kids sound and look so much better live. If you have ANY suggestions, please write to me with your thoughts! Thank you for your time...

I am the author of this story, and I want to thank Mel for posting this! And thank you for all the great comments, the kids are going to be so excited to see this (They're all still sleeping, it's early over here.) THANK YOU AUSTRALIA!!!
Man they nailed the sound to a tee... Even got the guitar feedback in the right places... The lead singer has a bit of a young Bon Scott there too...
Reminds me of the days I saw them at St.Albans High School way in 19... never mind!!!
Be sure to tell the kids they rock.... Great stuff. Good to see a bunch of kids playing their instruments well and not resorting to rapping and and American Idol.
They do us old rockers proud
