the black hill ramblers had the gully hotel packed out again, sunday evening,dancers.punters alike mingling,jostling for room on the well worn dance floor,most fans of this great country rock(abilly) band warming up for the long haul to wintersun this week,seems,me and con the only ones not going this year! yeah,yeah,gotta work,maybe next year... back to church,lots of new faces,shane and the boys signing heaps of autographs to there new cd now out,i got mine last week at the rampage,nice warm atmosphere inside,as it was bloody freezing outside!had a chance to check out a long, straight, mean lookin caddy sittin outside the door last night,i love cars the way they rolled off the factory floor back then,and this one is so damn original(lhd)a baby for life!mmmmm,one day!good on ya shane and the boys,and a safe trip to all out there to queensland and home...

Hey T7, you should try the dance area up the back of Flanagan’s bar, at worst, only 4 couples dancing … and a honky tonk hardwood floor to boot! ‘Cadillac Man’ Shane & his Blackhill Ramblers must be over the moon with punter attendance for their CD launch.
The day just buzzed with fun & excitement. Great CD by the way with 2 of my fave tracks; Steamin’ 53 & Big Wheels …. Good stuff!
Shane, the Caddy’s a real straight unit man. It seems to have all the jewellery with it. Also found out that it’s un-christened. Forgot to take a pic of the Cad for this comment. Sorry mate … next time.

Yeah, Terrence7 / Jazza. It sure was red hot at the Gully. Shane does handle himself well. I was checkin out his caddy on the nature strip when the next door neighbours started dragging out all their rubbish and stacking it out the front.Apparenly,they thought it was hard rubbish day. (How silly of them) Its on next month. I got down on my knees and ran a professional eye over the body work .I have to say. That car is as straight as jitterbug...Just Kidding Shane .You did well.
