The Flatfoot Shakers! then the Blackhill Ramblers...

Double trouble? No trouble at all! On Sunday, cruised on up to the Micawber Tavern for lunch and a pint with me lady, then back down to the Ferntree Gully Hotel to dance to the hot sounds of the Flat Foot Shakers - and did they rock! Dedicated to the music they love, everything flowed smoothly and as usual the lil floor took another pounding. Good array of locals, sinners and some classy dancers around. Shot back up to the Micawber Tavern for an ice cream dinner and the GROOVY sounds of Shane and his Ramblers rocking up a storm. Again, a good crowd already present plus the local VicRockers from the church stumblin in for more punishment on another well-worn dance floor that seemed a hell of allot smaller than the Gully? Should knock that middle wall out I reckon! Hate leavin before the bands are done, - early start! So all in all, a nice Sunday spent at two cool pubs with two top bands giving their all. LET THERE BE ROCK!

YES SIR, IT SURE WAS A GREAT AFTERNOON TERRY. I AM GLAD I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE FLATFOOT SHAKERS AGAIN. THERE WILL ONLY BE A FEW MORE TIMES LEFT TO SEE THEM PERFORM BEFORE KEIREN MOVES TO GERMANY FOR WORK.
