SUPPORT R'n'R DANCING - BECOME A CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT SPONSOR
Bill & Ted would tell you that this year's Championships are already shaping up to be "most excellent, Dude".
Rock’n’Roll businesses and organisations certainly are responding to the opportunity to sponsor event categories at the 2008 State Rock’n’Roll Dance Championships.
These visionary sponsors are already Signed In & Paid Up!
Alley Catz
Geelong Juke Box Rockers
Gorgeous Retro Gear
Greg & Wendy Gilbert
Hooked on Rock
Lakeside Rockers
Little Maria
Pink Poodle
Top Cat Dancers
For $125 per event, as well as the satisfaction of supporting the comps we love, sponsors get:
- Get their name engraved on the trophies of that event category
- They are invited to present those trophies on the night.
- The sponsorship is emphasised while that event is taking place and is acknowledged throughout the Championships and in the pre and post event information, including on the VRRDA web site, www.VRRDA.org.au.
- The opportunity to circulate and display marketing information.
- Two complimentary tickets to the Championships and have to opportunity to book a table for the night at the discounted supporters’ rate.
Re: SUPPORT R'n'R DANCING - BECOME A CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT SPONSOR
Congrats to Frankie Stevens for joining the list of Championship event sponsors.
Also a couple of corrections:
Can you believe I left Shadoogie off the list? No only are our own "Shads" providing the music for the social dancing on the Saturday night but they will be participating in a competition "first" - they will play the songs for the State Champion and Junior State Champion competitions. www.shadoogie.com.au
And the Gilberts are of course S'cool House Rock & Swing www.scoolhouse.com
Re: SUPPORT R'n'R DANCING - BECOME A CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT SPONSOR
Hey RobE - does the VRRDA intend to make a DVD of the event, particularly of the dance competitions? I would be happy to buy a copy of the DVD, and I am sure there would be similar interest from others as well.
The swing people does it (ie make DVDs for sale) and I think it's a good idea. Hopefully, the profits from the sales contribute to the VRRDA finances as well.
