I really hope this is to post here; I figured folks Rockabilly might help me on what is proving a difficult hunt.

I'm Writer/Director of a short, independent film that's currently in pre-production (to be shot in Melbourne late Sep). It's the story of a man in current times, who is stuck in the past. Crucial to the story is a free standing house that has a 'preserved retro 50s art deco' style to it, particularly the kitchen. We have a small budget, but I'd be willing to negotiate something with the owner

I was hoping somebody may have (or know somebody who does) a house that fits this criteria in the Melbourne metro area – or perhaps could even put the word out for me/share it with people you know – we're 4-5 weeks out from our slated production dates, and at this stage I've found a few places kind of like this, but they're not the wonderful inspirational location I had in mind.
