    Melbourne Rockabilly Meltdown

The Ferntree Gully Hotel hosts another extravaganza of rockabilly music & dance culture this Sunday 22 May. The car park of the Middle Hotel will see a multi-million dollar display of 50’s Classics, Hotrods & Bikes.
Both local and punters from every capital city will be present to witness and melt themselves into a show & shine of Fine-Iron, Kustom Kulture, Fashion & Music Stalls, Tattoo Show etc plus TEN of the finest Rockabilly & roots music bands that the land of OZ can offer.
Interstate bands include those Newcastle methanol-maniacs … the Flattrakkers. These guys have just released their third killer CD entitled ‘Winner Takes All’ that they will have for sale on the day. Also, Sydneysiders No Brakes will be down to emulate that crazy Saturday night performance at the Bright RIO Festival.
A tidal wave of country-Victorian rockabilly will roll into the Gully in the form of two Warrnambool bands … Sky Rockats plus Tommy & the Lucky Strikes.
Melbourne entertainment will include the R&B swing-rock sounds of Benny & the Flyby Niters, the crowd pulling power of the Detonators, young bucks … Road Ratz, some rockabilly grunt from Atomic Hi-Tones, a touch of psych & neo by Flyin’ Saucers and the Pete & Chris magic of Firebird.
MAN!!! … DA JOINT IS GONNA ROCK!!!
Always a top afternoon at the Gully.
