Get well Danny Boyd

Few people in our rock n roll / rockabilly scene would not know of Danny Boyd and his band Flashback. An institution in Melbourne and Victoria, the band has been around for over 30 years and Danny has been the leader and lead singer for most of that time.

Most of you would have been entertained by Danny’s singing, experienced Dannys tribute to Elvis and Al Jolson and danced to the bands music at one time or another.

Yesterday I heard that Danny has been diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer and will be undergoing chemotherapy sometime soon..

I'm sure you will all join me in wishing Danny a speedy recovery… Get well soon Danny!!

For the venue operators out there, Danny has assured me that the band will continue to honour all its commitments; he has no plans on taking it easy just yet.
