Hi all, Shadoogie will be doing its very last Melbourne gig tonight at the Dandy RSL. As some are aware “Lyndon and Darrel are leaving the building“. Lyndon formed Shadoogie 10 years ago to mainly play Shadows numbers Darrel and Terry were also members for that 10 years. Lyndon has decided to retire to his seaside country estate and Darrel is dedicating more time to his family. It was decided that as the line up of musicians has changed so will the band name.
Billy O’Neill & The HEADLINERS will still be performing at all Shadoogie booked gigs.
All are invited to farewell the boys and Shadoogie at the Dandy RSL tonight Dec 27 , our final gig is New Years Eve in Warragul but sorry to anybody that hasn’t already booked as tickets were limited to only several hundred and gig has been booked out with a long waiting list.
The name change leaves an opportunity for a Shadoogie reunion some day.
