Billy Lee Riley ill...

We heard on Friday night that Billy Lee Riley, one of the few Sun Studio stars left, was in hospital with a heart attack after hip surgery a week or so ago. VicRock Member Allen Wild received this email from Billy’s wife –

Hello;
Just wanted to give a update on Billy Lee. It was a rough week for us. Billy went through hip replacement on the 20th and did great, but on Thursday he developed chest pains, on Sunday he was taken in for emergency bypass surgery (5 bypasses) he did fine on that but on Tues he developed a bleed with a clot in the chest wall that required another emergency surgery. We got out of ICU on Friday afternoon. Billy is now doing great, he is in good spirits and knows that a lot of people were praying for him. He is a very strong and positive person and is planning a full recovery and being in better form than he ever was. Just keep us in your prayers and thoughts and Billy will soon be back rocking.
