Daryl Cotton played the Kyneton Town Hall last night to a full house of over 220. The theme of the night was rock'n'roll and most people made the effort and came dressed for the occasion. The band was great and the dance floor was packed all night long. Mr. Cotton and his crew have been doing this special gig for the Hesket Primary School for 21 years so it was an extra special night and he was presented with a cake and a key to mark the occasion. The evening was arranged by professional events organizer Kristy Brown and everything ran like clockwork. The parents and friends made their usual herculean effort and the list of sponsors and donations was impressive. The Macedon Ranges Rockers and friends filled thirty of the seats and kept our side of the hall jumpin. Marlene and Deane Maillard won the dance-off. Second was Kaylene Rothe and Eric Terry. Third was Anne Williams and Daryl Rowe... all MRR members.
