The Gullybilly Club’s Ten Commandments


1. Thou shall have no other gods except thy rockabilly music and dance gods

2. Thou shall not make to thyself an idol nor likeness of anything except thy club T-shirt

3. Thou shall not defame Gullybilly’s good name and of thy favourite rockabilly bands

4. Remember Gullybilly’s sabbath day. Six days thou shall labour and on the seventh day thou shall do no work but turn up at Gullybilly to worship at the alter of thy rockabilly bands and dance

5. Honour thy father and mother but also thy Gullybilly Club membership Gold Card

6. Thou shall not knock off thy mate’s sheilas

7. Thou shall not steal but pay for all thy beer and bourbon that ye shall drink

8. Thou shall not fight & kill at Gullybilly but cherish good times with thy fellow rockers

9. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy fellow rockers on Vicrock

10. Thou shall not covet Jazza’s golden truck nor GAG’s rockabilly high fashion nor Icon’s prized chook

frank i think jitterbug got it wrong, it is the sillybillys not the gullybillys or is it the gullibleys?

You guys leave Bugs alone.. He is only trying to get some structure into our new club.. The only thing I can fault is rule 6 and 7... We might have a show of hands at the Gullybilly rockers inaugural meeting with a view to pissing these 2 commandments off the list.

I think Commandment 6 should be amended to read " Thou shalt not covet thy pals dance partner" none gender specific Don't want are club to look sexist.All those in favour say aye,aye.
