The 2024 Cooly Rocks On Festival puts on another fantastic show for the thousands who attended the festival in Coolangatta this year. The weather was glorious throughout the festival with sunny days and gentle cool breezes to the shore and Marine Parade where the main events took place. There was no winter gloom in Coolangatta with non-stop rock 'n' roll dancing from morning to night.

Once again this year, our Melbourne rock 'n' roll community turned up with pride and in numbers to take part in the annual Good Friday Appeal dances. Two events were held in Melbourne this year that I know of - RocknSuzie dance in Pakenham and Adrian's dance at Burwood Whitehorse Club.
From feed-back I have received, both dances were well attended. In particular, the event in... [Read More]

Many of us celebrated NYE's along with our rocker friends watching live bands and dancing rock 'n' roll. The year 2023 was a very good year for our 1950's style rock 'n' roll community. Venues and promoters once again were hiring bands and staging dances on a weekly basis without any restrictions after what we went through with Covid. Many of us also attended music festivals, classic car shows,... [Read More]
