This Sunday 7th March will see Cold Snap back at the Manhattan Hotel in Ringwood from 5pm. This will be their first show back there for 2010 and we're wanting to make it a big one folks. We’re looking forward to seeing you down there after coming off a huge weekend of successful festival appearances last weekend.
Pako Festa 2010
Cold Snap just had a very busy weekend with a show on Friday night at Nighthawk Blues, then the next day at Moonee Valley Festival at 12:30pm. Only to then head straight to Geelong for their performance at Pako Festa at 4pm. Closing the Pako Festa on the Petrel Hotel Stage certainly was a buzz. However, the real buzz took place during their set watching the crowd getting more and more vocal after each song. Sonia's amazing vocals and sassy performance had guys yelling out "I love you" and bowing to her at the front of the stage. Their final song brought the house down with thunderous applause and demands for more from the crowd. Cold Snap didn't disappoint and decided to end their show with their version of Tony Joe White's "Polk Salad Annie". After their set, one lady came up to Sonia and said "You are my inspiration" after seeing the pint-sized powerhouse belt out her songs, shake her thing and even pick up her sax in some songs, it was great to see those talents recognised. The band came away with a great feeling of satisfaction, knowing they ended the Pako Festa with a big bang. People who didn't know who Cold Snap was at the start of the day, went home with a CD or T-shirt as a memento of what they had just seen. Cold Snap has since been offered more work as a result of their two festival appearances.
All Aboard The Blues Train
Next weekend will see Cold Snap make their debut appearance on The Blues Train on Saturday 13th March. We were originally booked for a private function during the day, but will now also be playing that night in Carriage D. Unfortunately for our fans this show is already Sold Out; so if you don't already have tickets you'll have to wait for our next show. We're very happy to be added to The Blues Train’s roster of talented artists. Watch this space for more future shows folks.

Cold Snap have locked in an Instore appearance at Route 66, 2 Grattan Street, Prahran on Saturday 17th April. They will be kicking off their 45 minute set at 1pm. We hope you can make it down to check out the show and while you're at it; check out the jaw-dropping range of US vintage clothes, western boots, 501s, Ray-Bans and other primo goods they have in stock.
