February 27th and 28th is the date for a great weekend. The annual ROCK N ROD show is on again. Last year they raised over $7000 for the Goulburn Valley Hospital, hopefully we can raise the bar again this year. This wont be just another car show as a lot of effort has gone into entertaining the whole family. Along with the music playing live all day from Billy & the Headliners, Straight 8s and the Flyin Saurcers there is plenty of entertainment for the kids and activities aimed at keeping the wives that only like carshows in small doses happy too.
There will be plenty of shaded areas, trade stalls of all types and a good varity of food stalls. Sheppartons main shopping district is only a short walk from the Showgrounds too.
Coming into the evening will be a rock n rockabilly dance also featuring all three ONeill brothers and there bands. The dance will be held in the Macintyre Centre located in the Show Grounds too. Always an entertaining event with a great auction mid through the night.
For those still wanting more on Sunday morning, a mystry cruise is planned with an assortment of tours to suit all, finishing with a free sausage sizzle and more live music.
