Blackhill Ramblers, Headliners, Fenderbenders, Rockin’ Daddy’s, The Speedsters, Straight 8’s, Rockin’ Rick Charles in duo with Marcia Rae and Flashback the Band. To fill in the change over times, three top DJ’s. Flash Gordon, Jeff Poole and TC. Demos by “Fourmost Dance Company” and “Alley Cats” 8 Week Wonders. All have donated their time and services.
Also in attendance, with stalls, 4 clothing /footwear companies, “Flashy Bits” and “Big T”
Just about everyone I’ve spoken with, says they’re coming to this one. At Springvale Town Hall. This was one of the premier venues during the 60’s (It hasn’t deteriorated) and we can take in 600-700 people and seat them.
Lions International Dandenong Luncheon Club will be manning the doors with some of our dancers. They will also be running a kiosk with bottled water, Coke, etc. and some nibblies. Be doing a sausage sizzle for when the hungers hit. We don’t have a Liquor licence so you can bring your own grog. We have “The Latte Express Co.” setting up to sell ‘lishes hot drinks.
If you have a classic car bring it along there are three tropheys to be taken home in our peoples choice, “Show & Shine”.
Entry is by ticket and some tickets will be available at the door.
The entry fee has been kept low for this big event, so those on a tight budget, could still come, $15.00 for Adults, $10.00 for under 16y.o. Those that can afford it, can buy up big, for the monster raffle or donate, because, all the profits are going to the Lions Bushfire Appeal. Lions Clubs in the affected areas distribute the funds where needed and all the money is accounted for.
