The Gold Dust Lounge is proud to announce Cold Snap returns to Bendigo this Friday 24th February for the first time in 2012.

One of the most exciting live acts on the blues scene at this time is Melbourne's Cold Snap who's electrifyingly fun show wins them a new legion of fans wherever they play.

Cold Snap enjoy a dedicated local following thanks to regular performances at the Gold Dust Lounge, New Years in the Hargreaves Mall, Rock and Blues in Bull Street and a sensational appearance at the Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival Fundraiser held at the Goldmines Hotel.

Cold Snap's dynamic brand of blues is brimming with fun fuelled energy. Husband and wife team Joe and Sonia Valenti are naturals in the art of energizing an audience, while the impeccable musicianship of guitarist/saxophonist Brian Strafford, bassist Jimmy Fewings and drummer Jeff Pickard is masterful and bursting with soul.

“Authorised Bootleg“ is the title of Cold Snap's recent CD release. Recorded live at Melbourne's Cornish Arms Hotel, it is a potent document of one of the great live bands on the scene today. Be sure to get your copy early at the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival as it wouldn`t be the first time they’ve sold out.
