The Atomics Cat House

The Clayton RSL Jam on Wed was good but nothing like the Atomic hi Tones at The Cat House in Mentone.
On Thur, Cliff and his little band of Music engineers pumped out some fantastic rockabilly. I haven't ever seen The Atomics play like this before, they were brilliant. The dancers were great too,pity the floor is so small at this lovely little nostalgic venue.
We've been to this venue on a few occasions, very cosy warm type of place, it's so cosy you seem to be part of the band, well worth a visit if you're out that way, plenty of music Wed to Sun live bands on most of these days.

Glad to hear that there's someone out there enjoying the vibe of the Cathouse Night @ The Nighthawk, Mentone.

It really is a nice little venue, yeah sure the dance floor is a bit on the small side, but that just makes it all the more cosy.

Rob Kirk (Lone Sharks/DJ's Alive) has worked hard bringing the night together and getting some good bands in.

It would be great to see a few more faces down there - hopefully make it a small success for the local Billy/RnR crowd at least. A little bit of effort with these nights goes a long way.
