Hope For Hope Fundraiser

A big thankyou to all who braved the horrible weather last night to make this night a GREAT success!
In total we raised a bit over $4300! What a brillant outcome!

Little Hope was in attendance (dressed in her white fairy dress!) and even had a little "jam" with the bands.
A great party atmosphere ran through the night, with lots of dancing and laughter.
The bands, as usual, were in top form. A big thankyou to Black hill Ramblers, Atomic Hi-Tones and Flyin Saucers.

For those of you who were planning to come and join us but couldn't make it due to the weather....
If you'd still like to make a donation please PM me and I will supply you with details.

On a slight downer...
If you were the MORON to made a dummy bid on the silent auction in someone elses name...SHAME on YOU! You just "stole" $50 from this child!
I hope you feel REAL proud of your self this morning!

Also, if you went home shoeless ( black hi heels) please PM me and we'll sort out how to retrieve your footwear.

A HUGE thankyou to all those that helped set up and clean up...

A great night out and wonderful to see the children, including Hope, having as good a time as all the adults. Reminded me of country dances at the local hall, with families and friends enjoying themselves.

Full of admiration for all who organised this event, and especially the bands who performed up to their usual high standards on a voluntary basis.

Congratulations Joy and Shane. You did good.
It certainly was a very special feel good night.
Hope was so cute and a real little princess getting around.
It was lovely to see the turn out of people who came to show their support.

I'd like one of those photos of Shane and Cliff mopping the floor at the end of the night.
