Feel like an 8 hour drive in the Rod? Then get up early Easter Saturday and head up the Hume to Australia's biggest Hot Rod event, this year staged in Goulburn. Located midway between Canberra and Sydney, the town is expected to swell to capacity because such a large percentage of Australia's population lives within an hour's drive adding to the many who flock to the event with their cars. Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly go hand in hand with Hot Rods so bands are on the entertainment program. The year the Atomic Hi-Tones will be super charging the mix with their blend of high octane rockabilly - Saturday night for the general public and on the Sunday night at the awards function. There is other entertainment in the town in various venues also, so all the Hot Rodders who dance will be well catered for all round the town.
