Seeing as the G.L.W (good lady wife) and I were going to Perth for a few days, thoughts wandered to where we might find a band or two to go and watch.I remembered reading posts on the VicRock site from Ando about his trip to Melbourne from Perth to the Meltdown.I thought that I would message Ando and ask if anything would be happening while we were there.Not only did he reply but he and his lovely wife ,Kathy,offered and did, take us to a couple of gigs.All the while we were being introduced to all and sundry in their local r'nr scene,what a great bunch.What great bands! Adam hall and his swing band and then on to the Roadmasters.A big shout out to Alan and Kathy for their wonderful hospitality and to the power of Vicrock who puts us all together.To Alan and Kathy thankyou for a great night out and we look forward to seeing you again and to VicRock keep up the good work.
