Dirty Boogie at the ‘G’ Sunday 20th July

Contrary to rumour! … The itinerary of the Pope in Australia does not include a visit to ‘The Church of Rock’ this Sunday. Sad as that news may be … Flanagan’s Bar FTGH has an alternative that is sure to shake the foundations of this popular house of bop.
Yes brethren! … be prepared for the second appearance (coming) of the glorious Dirty Boogie Band spreading the word of big-band rockin’ swing (Setzer style). Be blessed with an abundance of free entertainment, warm hospitality and a shared friendly atmosphere by all involved.
Next Week … Mr popular & his band. The Blackhill Ramblers.
PS. We’re still negotiating to get the Pope to the Meltdown 24th August with the Pope-mobile as the main attraction of the Show & Shine … fingers crossed.
The Ferntree Gully Hotel. 1130 Burwood HWY Ferntree Gully. 9758 6544. Melways map 74 C4. FREE entry. Drink specials. Ample parking. Tasty food available, friendly atmosphere. 3 to 7 pm. www.ferntreegullyhotel.com.au then click on the Flanagan’s page.
‘Rockin’ the Gully’ The southeast centre for rock & roll on Sunday afternoons.
