    Rocker website

    gees sowwey.
Add country and rockabilly to the vic rock opening page and ya ain't got no beef with me Mel.

VicRock is all about the 50's and 60's Rock and Roll, Swing and Lindy Hop dance scene in Melbourne and country Victoria in this great land called Australia. As well as news, there are directories of Rock and Roll Venues, Bands, Dance Schools, Clubs and Associated businesses with links to other sites of similar interest throughout the rest of Australia and the World. There is also an Events Calendar (gig guide) and very busy Community Forum.

Go Mel !! What the heck is punter talking about this would have to be the fastest way of finding out whats on all over Melb.
Punter next time you go and see your kick arse hot rod music how about picking up the flyers that they have on the table as you leave so you know where to go next time.
That way you can get back to what you get paid for instead of wasting time on personal stuff...

    Mel,
Iv'e got one thing to say. Punter whoever you are, we are all the same as you. We work we play and we communicate. As BlueBird said there are flyers everywhere. Set up your net work of friends so you are in the know, and just appreciate what MEL does for us all for nothing.

Hey Boomer, by nice guitarist, you did mean me didnÂ’t you?
Sorry, canÂ’t work it out either, but you sure do have to be quick around here if you want to get in first.

Poor old Punter must feel like a dog on heat.

Nice guitarist! Now that HAS got me worried.
    Are you OK mate?

    Re:Rocker website

Lyndon, we are only talking about links here. You know that many Rock n Rollers enjoy other forms of dance and I have had quite a few ask me where they can learn to Linedance.

It is one small part that is all.

    Re:Rocker website

Mel! What are you doing?? I have been following this waffle with amusement but then was horrified to read that your outlook has changed.

I do not see why we need that information here. It states on the entry page "VicRock is all about the 50's and 60's Rock and Roll, Swing and Lindy Hop dance scene in Melbourne and country Victoria". The key word there is "dance" and vic rock does cater for rock & roll dancers and does it well. As I am one and have little interest in country music or bootscooting I say leave things the way they are. You have to feel sorry for bootscooters though, after all most of them are just frustrated rockers who cannot get a dance or need to follow others to be able to dance at all.

Links to hot-rod, custom and classic car sites? Now that is a different story altogether.
