Dets kick arse.

Went out to see the Dets play at Yarra Glenn yesterday arvo. Rockbottom was unusally very talkative between songs and, if you followed his thread, was quite amusing .It was a great day out doors with plenty of people sitting in the shade. For a second there,(being Sunday arvo) I felt so guilty not attending our Gully church.But, that soon passed after a few beers and when the band fired up. The guys sure earned their money as the arvo wore on playing some real good music.I walked away at the end of the day scratching my head wondering Why this great band stopped playing the Gully.

Well said Icon, we've been to the venue you mention on a few occasions to see and dance to the Dets, we love this band, fantastic home grown music, and might I say very danceable. For in excess of 11 years now we've watched this bands gig guide as they travel the length & breath of the country,to find some place to catch up with them,we can never get enough of these guys & Gal. A very hard working and full on, fantastic band.

Thanks for the positive feedback,it sure was hot playing out there in the sun. Worth it though when the crowd is so into it.Its a great venue that one and seems to be getting better and bigger each time we play there. If you guys could hear what Rockbottom says on stage when he's away from the mike to us you'd crack up......!
Dont ask me why we dont play the Gully we dont get called about Sunday arvo gigs any more like we used to for some reason.
We do have some Fridays coming up there at The Gully soon:April 9th is the first one. It'll be advertised on Vicrock to remind everyone.
