Great Clip. I have a video of Rockin' at the Arcadia. It was held may 5th 1983 at the Arcadia Ballroom in Thornbury with original 1950's rockers including Betty McQuade, Malcolm Arthur, Billy Owens and The Thunderbirds. Harold Frith, drummer with The Thunderbirds nowadays plays blues with The Brunswick Blues Shooters-- worth catching!.
Thanks for posting that clip. I have the video, too. Some old faces in there: Grey drape: Coco
Red drape: Krank
Leather Jacket: Nick
Purple Drape: Rocky
Blue Shirt: Jimmy Garvin (dec.)
Light Grey Drape (and winner): Eddie Gardiner
Blue Drape: Dave O'Neill
In the rest of the video, the other O'Neill boys are in it and loads of other old faces. What a trip down memory lane.

Cat, I'd love a copy of that video. If you wanted to lend it, I'll have copies for both of us burnt to CD. PM me.
Just a little info from someone who was there,
Rockin' at the Arcadia was the filming of the after-party at the Arcadia Ballroom which earlier that day was used in filming segments of Malcolm Arthurs tribute movie "Remembering Elvis" and the dream sequence involving SaucerDave and Nancy which was to pop up in other films in the 80's & 90's (including Colin Cooks "brylcreem & blue suede shoes" video clip and "Wheels of fire" documentary about Hot Rodding in Aust).
It was decided that as the Arcadia was no longer the great venue where most of the legends of Aust.Rock'n'Roll had performed in the 1950-60's, the film producers wanted to resurect the venue for one last bash and the result was awsome..
Billy O'Rouke, Betty McQuade, Beverly Dick, Judy Canon, Colin Cook, the Allen Bros, members of the original Thunderbirds if you look closely behind Wayne Hawthorn (original President of the Elvis Presley fan Club) thats him in red on the stage, you'll see the late Henry Boise anyway I could ramble on......
