Hi Terrence,
their names were, Stevie Wright, George Young. Gorden {Snowy}Fleet,
Harry Vanda {who wrote most of the songs}and on bass Dick Vanderslys. not exactly sure of the spelling of Dick's surname
the first song recorded by the Easybeats was, "For My Woman" recorded in March 1965, the song was chosen by Ted Albert who became their record producer {Albert Productions}
It wasnt a number one hit,, but it was their very first recording........
You've brought back so many memories, yeah I was there too, never missed any Yeasybeats Melb concerts, I lived near Festival Hall. The best was at 10th Avenue Disco in Bourke Street, school holidays, 15 years old, hair that would'nt sit straight like yours, and crazy about Stevie Wright.
Last concert I went to was at Festival Hall on their return from England after Friday on My Mind.
It wasn't that long ago I donated my Easybeats albums to the Salvos.
