    Unhappy Ike Turner

    Goodbye Ike and thanks.

Ike Turner has died after making a huge contribution to the music that I love - including Rock, Blues, Soul and Funk.

(We all just did Nutbush at the staff Christmas party; never realizing it might have been an homage to Ike.)

It sounds like he was not always a nice bloke but he was a hell of a musician, writer, arranger and producer.

Make sure your R'n'R club or dance school is getting best value.

1951 and the first Rock n Roll record is released - Ike Turners "Rocket 88".

A little bit more history passes..........
