‘Prairie Oysters’ will be served at Flanagans Bar, FTG this Sunday 15th April 07.

On Good Friday, a 12-band earthquake shook the foundations of this fine hotel and dislodged some terra cotta tiles when the roof was rocked off the place. The tremor also loosened the purse strings of this hotels' punters to aid a worthy charity. The damage was minimal & FTGH management has announced all repairs are now complete and assures that Flanagans is structurally sound & safe enough to dance in & rock yer socks off once again. General feel of the night was … "the gain was well worth the outlay". So … its back to normal this week. Melbourne rock & rollers, who have craved Prairie Oysters over the past few months, your wait is over! They’ll be dished up at the ‘Middle Hotel’ FTG this week. No! ... not the food!, the band!. Yes folks! Prairie Oysters are now in hot demand and serving up another platter of their style of south-eastern suburb-fried rockin’ country-billy. No bullocks! The Oysters are continually fine tuning their very danceable song repertoire and they just get bigger & better every gig. If you’ve missed these boys to date, you can join their growing army of fans and experience them this Sunday arvo at :- The Ferntree Gully Hotel. 1130 Burwood HWY Ferntree Gully. 9758 6544. Melways map 74 C4. FREE entry. Drink specials. Ample parking. Tasty food available, friendly atmosphere. 3 to 7 pm. www.ferntreegullyhotel.com.au then click on the Flanagans page. "Rockin’ the Gully" The south-east centre for rock & roll on Sunday afternoons.
