    Sat 15th @ Georges

Would like to thank the organisers, the helpers and the bands for a fantastic night. I would recommend any rock 'n' roller that wants a good venue and atmosphere to have a look.
Itchy Fingers - you guys are the best.... keep it up

    Until next time

Georges was and is fast becoming one of Melbournes great live band venues and sharing the stage between the ALmighty Itchy Fingers and Larger then Cowboys, Prairie Oysters, the night ran smoothly and blowed out a great storm of different genre of music which still kept the dancefloor working and George and Rhonda hosting the bar.
Thank you to everyone who not only attended but the little helpers at the door.
It was a real pleasure as always guys sharing the stage with not only yourselves but of cause an honour to be backed by some of the best of blues boys around Melbourne.
    Much cheers.

    Yessiree… George's was certainly rockin'!!

The TRIPLE PLAY last Saturday night at George’s Place was an absolute mindblower… 3 top class bands representing 3 different rockin’ styles of music – and ALL on the one night!!!

It doesn’t come better than this for a fantastic night of dancin’ ya feet off on that great dance floor or just sittin’ down and enjoying the music… and these bands, who know how to satisfy a crowd, were pumping out one great song after another… all night long!!

Eastsiders are just so lucky to have this great venue available! Like lots of others, we couldn’t sit down for too long… just had to get back up there jumpin’ on the dance floor. By the time the third band, Oysters, had finished their set, (with that killer ZZ-Top track “Tush” sung by Tony) we were finished too… very tired but very happy…

Our thanks to the three bands on the bill; Itchy Fingers, Jeannie Lushes & her Bad Boys and the Prairie Oysters for providing such high quality entertainment for the punters and also our appreciation to popular hosts, Rhonda and George, for organising such a brilliant night. We hope to see more TRIPLE PLAYS in the future… and if the same bands are on the bill, perfect!! Puleeeze, guys, lets all do this again... soon!?

George’s Place *IS* the place to be for great atmosphere, big dance floor, inexpensive drinks with quick bar service and lots of friendly folk all diggin’ the music and dancing up a storm for the whole night. It is certainly building up a steady clientele with lots of socialising going on between the regulars.

Folks, if you haven't been to this venue, you owe it to yourself to check it out… very, very highly recommended!

Till next time, y’all keep a-rockin’…
