    VRRDA "ISO" Dance Video Event

Tonight was supposed to be the hosting of VRRDA's 2020 Rock n Roll Dance Championship and no doubt many of us are feeling disappointed the event has to be postponed to a later date due to the Covid-19 situation.

Nonetheless, to keep alive our passion for rock n roll dancing, the VRRDA has called for an "ISO" dance video competition whereby couples who are suitably dressed in their rock n roll attire are invited to post on its website a video of their dancing held somewhere in the house, garden or driveway. The winners of the video competition shall receive free passes to the next VRRDA Rock n Roll Dance Competition.

This sounds like a fun thing to do. See more details from the VRRDA below:

The Victorian Rock Ďní Roll Dance Association proudly presents

    The Victorian Iso-Titles!

    What you need to do?

We want you to record yourself dancing for 30seconds and post it to the VRRDA Facebook page.

We want you to have fun with this, get dressed up in your best dance gear and strut your stuff on the floor, in your driveway, in your local park even on your dining room table. We donít care we just want to see you having some fun!

We will then pick out a random couple and that couple will receive 2 spectator passes to the Victorian State Championships when weíre allowed to run it again.

There will be a couple of rules like any good competition.

    1. Video must be minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 60 Seconds

    2. We want you to get dressed up for this, however if you really donít want to thatís ok. However you must adhere to public decency

    3. It must be posted to either the VRRDA Facebook page or posted in the comments of this post

    4. Videos must be submitted by 5 pm on Sunday 17th of May

    5. Videos must consist of two dancers, you donít have to be dancing together but two people must be present.

This is a fun competition so lifts/drops/props whilst they look awesome will not get you any closer to winning.

We also suggest you take advantage of one of the amazing local musicians doing regular Facebook lives and have a dance to them feel free to tag them in your videos too Iím sure it will make their day as well!

This competition is open NOW!! Good luck
