Thread: Backing tracks

    Backing tracks

Hi - this might be a long shot as all the bands I know on here are 'live musicians' which I love. But solo performers, like me, sadly are forced to use backing tracks. I have been using a very old midi system through my laptop and now want to update. Can anyone recommend an app or software? I want to be able to play a midi, wav or mp3 file synced with the the lyrics scrolling at the appropriate speed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. And like all musos - I can't afford to spend much lol (A free app or free download would be great lol) Thanks in advance!

    Re: Backing tracks

Hi try Studio 3 I use it and woks well for me, I also use Band in a Box that has Real band embedded into it, great for midi and format to any file you wish I used it a lot before I got busy with my band, just google them and check what's convenient to you, check the Hit Trax site they've got this midi player Okyweb player, sounds fantastic.
