    marc bolan.t.rex.r.i.p.17.09.1977.

    marc bolan was tragiclly killed in an automobile accident this day back in 77 with his girl friend gloria jones driving there mini.marc was a glam rock artist who had always stated,i wont live to be 30,he died two weeks before his 30th birthday,david bowies started glam rock and moved on ,marc woud have gone on to bigger things musiclly too.

    Hi Tezz, a couple of my pics.
    Last ones a bit blured as I couldnt park the car, the road was busy and narrow so I snapped the shot while driving.
    I did read somwhere that although he had several cars including a rolls, he never drove.

    great memorial shots!bill,thank you,and im proud of ya as an elder statesmen for music of all generations,as much as i admire rock n roll in the 50s when it all started,we had to move with the times as each year passed,pop music,motown,mod,blues hippie,heavy,of the 60s,disco,classic ballads,punk,regaee,,glam rock of the 70s,to new wave,etc,of the 80s.country music and the rolling stones crossed all those eras,id like to think we embrace music as it stands.loved t.rex and there music,yes,sadly marc did not bother to drive,just a cruiser and a metal guru...tezza.p.s.i did veiw the videos of his resting place,and that tree,another story there..and i might add,i jumped a day this morning and took a guess,he actually passed away this day,16.09.1977...
