    can kiwis dance?

    the 2011 nationals for rock n roll!held at river city(hamilton)waikato,in new zealand recently,this clip is the club group championships..

    It looked to Moxo and me that the second team kept their spacing and sync better. Maybe the first team had more complex lifts?

    It will be interesting to see how Australian teams interpret the song "GI Blues" at the VRRDA Victorian Rock'n'Roll Dance State Championships in May.

    The difference between the Teams' Event here and in NZ is that our men have to dance at least once with each of the women. It adds an extra element to the choreography.

    hi rob n marg,yes,i agree,better timing all round in the second clip,but?those young guns were hard to beat!as far as style went in the first,plenty more on you tube,i think i posted the open final on facebook..oh,and the tune!the late,great,sam cooke..
