A special thank you to Daz and Wilma of Tassie Rockers for hosting Jump&Jive this weekend Sat 13th March everything was fantastic. Ronnie and Anne collected us from the airport and drove us around all weekend. They looked after us and made sure that every thing was just right.
Tassie Rockers ran an excellent night at St Ailbes Hall, Launceston. The PA system was brilliant and the boys sounded fantastic and by the way the dance floor was full all night the great people of Tassie thought so to. An added bonus of Roller Derby girls added to the fun and enjoyable feel of the night.
Ronnie and Anne took time out of their weekend to show us some of the most beautiful sights of Tassie. One of the places we were taken to was the Tassie Devils restaurant and bar, the meals are great and we were made welcome with an invitation extended for us to jam with the boys from The Giants, a great experience.
To any band who is extended an invitation to play at a Tassie Rockers Dance take it. I cannot recommended them enough, organisation, friendlyness, welcome and their love of music 100/100. If you have a chance to get to one of these dances you will love it. Daz, Wilma, Ronnie, Anne and all involved with Tassie Rockers are truely wonderful people.

On behalf of our club the Tassie Rockers and all the people who attended our dance on Saturday night we are all extremely appreciative,... in fact,... we're all overwhelmed with the performance of the band. We would all like to personally give a great big thank you to Sammy, Gossy & Jake. On top of that I (Daz) would like to give a great big thank you to you Steve for being a great bloke to deal with in organising to get the band over to Tassie.
I know you where a bit (very apprehensive in the first instance about the PA we decided to use for this dance Steve, but it was great to see all the worry lines drop straight off your face when you heard the band strike up the first few bars at the pre-dance sound check.
There's nothin' quite like two Bose LI Model II systems with four B1 bass modules and a T1 Tone Match Audio Engine is there Steve? especially in the grand ole Hall we've got here in Launie.
