Ken the date number is on the right of the day not on the left. Have a look at todays information - you will see a red box around everything. The number of the day is in the top right corner of the red box.

I used to get mixed up once too with the calendar, but Mel is correct - the date is on the right hand side of the column. Thanks for your input though!
