Dance floor came to a halt

Have you ever seen a full dance floor come to a halt even thought great music was playing? Well it happened last Fri at the Flipside dance at the Hungarian Club when a full floor of dancers stopped to watch in awe at the brilliant dancing on the giant screen of Frankie Manning and Whiteys Lindy Hoppers from the movie Helzapopin in 1941. The aerials, flips and energetic moves had everyone spellbound, and even though many have seen the clip on youtube before, to see it on the giant screen with enhanced sound was a priceless moment. And one that is sure to be repeated again.

Hi Joceb,
It was a remarkable sight to see all the dancers stop, watch the screen & at the finish applaude. I am looking forward to Flipside's dance this week & hope to see that same clip on the big screen again. No doubt Uncle Milt will have something special lined up !
