hey cat, jitts!it really is happening!remember our wish list?on bands we want to see, well, someones come up with some stash to rock this town!and that one too, great news,i better start budgeting now being just after xmas, thanks for the news...tez.
you can never tell if it will be the last time the Straycats appear together in OZ for a berry long long long time or at all soooooooo i reckon i wouldn't miss a good chance.... should be a blast......
I guess pre-sales is not widely publicised. I suppose this is for insiders like fan club members, radio stations (like PBS which is already flogging the tour) and related promoters.
If you join up Ticketek online you can get the pre sales.

90 bucks for standing room only!!?? Oh well, it's the Straycats afterall so I have to take it and not leave it ...........
I certainly hope the Forum has an extra large storeroom to put away all those comfy cushion seats. The last time I was there to see the B# Big Band about 3 years there were seats everywhere - upstairs and downstairs.
Damn! I was looking forward to this tour... But standing room only? What were they thinking? The promoter is treating Setzer like a bar act and this is disappointing. Another promoter did the same to The Hellcasters a few years ago.
Oh well, I won't whinge because the show will be a sell out and it will no doubt be spectacular, but my family and the big group of my friends that were going to go will be watching the Stray Cats DVD in the comfort of my home theatre.
fair comment, jackmoon, you hit it right on the head! why on earth bring a big,big act to melbourne to play in a small venue?is the palai in st kilda closed?or even the vodofone entertainment centre woud have been better, ive been to heaps of concerts back home,(80s)billy idol.zz top,j barnes, etc, all big venues, plenty of seating, plus,we all want to dance!not much chance gettin up front,oh well,im like you.ill decide,later...stray cats!still a class act.by the way,how big is the forum, and how many people will it hold? 1500 people, thanks essex bit of luck, they may find an extra nite to play again...fair to say,10,20,000 may have booked or turned up to a bigger venue, with slightly cheaper tickets,or am i dreamin.
