Thumbs up Well Done Purple Sue JP!

We mainly know each other from meeting at gigs; dancing, drinking, talking crap, having fun.

We hardly ever hear about the serious aspects of people's lives.

Purple Sue (Sue Martin) is known by many Rockers. She has been active for a long time in our community running dances and working on tours & events.

Most Rockers don't know how she has been working hard to overcome a bunch of personal issues.

Well dig this! Yesterday Sue was sworn in as a JP at a ceremony in the Dandenong Courts.

    But wait, there's more.

Earlier this week Lions Clubs International presented Sue with the prestigious Melvin Jones Award. This was in recognition of Sue's continuing commitment to the Driver Reviver holiday driving rest stops program. Particularly the operation of the rest stop on the South Gippsland Highway just out of Cranbourne.

Well done Sue! These two accolades only reinforce what your friends already knew about your depth of character.

Sounds a lot like reward for effort, so well done Miss Purple. I see these accomplishments in some of my close friends and it’s inspiring. You get out what you put in. You must be proud Sue. Congrats and take care.
