    Unhappy Elvis Forgive Us!

Elvis died on Monday and we forgot to mark the day with a posting on Vic Rock.

Sure I think of him every day when I look at my Elvis windscreen doll and I do have a certificate to show that I am a member of the Church of Presleyterianism. And as a true fan I enjoy just about all his bluesy and rockabilly work from before he went into the army. Likewise I regret all the Hunka-Hunka, Don't Cry Daddy crap. And the execrable " ... ain't satisfactioning me ... "

So we should mark the important dates - 8 January 1935 & 16 August 1977.

Trivia buffs can recall details like - Sergeant Presley, Elvis Aaron, 53310761, 1st Battalion, 32nd Armor Regiment.

    Think on this:

    "Old Shep he has gone
    Where the good doggies go.
And no more with old Shep will I roam.
But if dogs have a heaven
    There's one thing I know
Old Shep has a wonderful home."
