Fun at the Gully
The Blackhill Ramblers were sensational during the opening round of the 2010 season at the Church of Rock. They whipped the sizeable crowd into a country-rock frenzy. One fan in particular got very excited indeed. I must say that BHR’s Shane Conners is an excellent front man. He seems to have a knack of stirring up a good feel amongst his audience. Apart from the bands great sounds, Shane acknowledges his fans as they walk into the place, especially the outta towners like Pete & Babba Swift who drove down from Harcourt in their blue 34 Ford coupe. Shane also acknowledges birthdays and even punters who are sick and hospitalised. The important thing is that Shane makes us realise what our rock & roll scene should always be about ... Having FUN. Goodonya guys.
The Ferntree Gully Hotel sees the mighty Atomic Hi-Tones continue the weekly party on Sunday 7th February.
