    Gully is Back!

Yes folks, the wait is over. Rockin’ the Gully at the Ferntree Gully Hotel is back again for it’s 6th consecutive year this Sunday the 31st January with a band that has been there from the start in
Shane Conners and his Blackhill Ramblers.

Organisers are proud of the achievement of 200+ gigs with a dozen major rockabilly extravaganzas. The formula that works here has 3 main ingredients: - Pub, Promoters and Punters … all putting in with support.

Highlights at the ‘Church of Rock’ in 2010 include Marisa Quigley who fronts Chubby Rae & the Elevators in February. Also, pencil in the 16th of May for the big Rockabilly Meltdown featuring Newcastle based Retro Rockets together with the Flattrakkers.
Below is the ‘Rockin’ the Gully’ gig guide for Feb & March 2010 :-
    February
    7th …. Atomic Hi-Tones.
    14th … Infernos.
    21st … Longbillys.
    28th … Chubby Rae & the Elevators.

    March
    7th …. Atomic Hi-Tones.
    14th … Ezra Lee. (Newcastle)
    21st … Blackhill Ramblers.
    28th … Lowriders.
The Ferntree Gully Hotel. 1130 Burwood HWY Ferntree Gully. Melways map 74 C4. www.ferntreegullyhotel.com.au … then click on the Flanagan’s page. Music at 3, Band at 4pm
    Phone 9758 6544. This is a FREE–ENTRY venue … Thankyou FTG Hotel.
‘Rockin’ the Gully’ … THE southeast centre for rock & roll on Sunday afternoons

Live & let Live, Love & let Love, Rock & let Roll, plus related clichés.
