    Re: For the Guitar Buff

I should make mention that during the Xmas celebrations at the Gully last Sunday … Kevin Spiers also played a guitar that was manufactured by a regular punter at the ‘Church of Rock’.
    Check out the pic.
"Manufactured" is pretty bland term when you mention the creative skills of Rod Octigan. Here am I thinking that Rod was just a proficient carpenter plus cool dancer with wife Ann and an all-round Mr nice guy.
Rod has been honing his recently discovered talent for almost 2 years now. He’s been getting some great reviews from seasoned muso's recently and he is super excited with the prospect that he may have the ability to produce an instrument of exceptional quality that discerning guitarists are looking for.
I suspect that the quality of Rod’s Guitars will put his product in the top end of the market where you get what you pay for. So Mr Rod Octigan … you are not only just a cool rock & roll dancer and a pretty face … you are also a proficient guitar craftsman. Good luck with your new-found hobby and/or business.
