    Re: Lucky Seven Swing Band

After hearing wispers of a hot swing band had arived in our town i could miss catching a new sound that we are sadly missing.
Right from the time they entered the stage we knew we were infore something special and let me tell you they didn't let the auidance down.
With a mix of classic's from Bobby Darrin to Big Bad Voodoo Daddies Hits and a few of their own just for good mesure, these guys looked the part all dressed in suits and hats and a sound that lifted the roof, not a foot was left standing as the crowd taped, clapped, and danced the night away the sound from that stage was in par as Royal Crown Revue and Big Bad Voodoo Daddies.
Chances are that they will be returning in November so be sure to check them out

    Re: Lucky Seven Swing Band

Such a shame this venue (St Kilda Bowls) is not promoted enough….. For those who love their swing/rockabilly style tunes THIS BAND WILL BLOW YOU ALL AWAY.
Lucky Seven was without doubt the best kept secret around Melbourne town this week end. They are presented immaculately looking sharp in their Capone style cloths. The sound was brilliant; their songs were done with professionalisms and an energy that made you want to jump, jive and whale along with them.
These guys can stand proud knowing they rank up there with Royal Crown Revue & Big Voo Doo Daddys I went to both their concerts and I feel with some exposure Lucky Seven is and can be a world class act. Bring on November!!! I can’t wait to be entertain by you all again.
One hell of a night was had by those who were fortunate to attend your gig last night COME BACK REAL SOON
