What a fun packed day at the ‘Church of Rock’ yesterday. Great to see so many turn out for some free Sunday entertainment in Flanagan’s Bar. The vid below shows an inspiring sermon delivered by the reverend Sammy Depetro.

With the help of drummer Graeme Goss, you can actually witness these rockin’ clergymen, converting Jump & Jive’s newest member. Like a new born foal trying to stand up for the first time … 14 year old Jake Schembri looks a bit shaky at big bull fiddle climbing but it won’t be long before he’s totally converted to rockabilly religion and performing showmanship back flips.

Great to see the next generation of rock & roll muso’s coming through and it’s also reassuring that the ‘Gully Rockin’ congregation remains faithful. That faith keeps venue’s like this alive. Next week 15th March sees the ‘Dirty Boogie Band’ displaying their brand of entertainment at the FTG Hotel.
