    Hot Rod Rockin'

Here's a clip of Atomic Hi-Tones doin' the ever popular Steve Wood song ... Parramatta Hotrodman. Filmed amongst the fine machinery at the 43rd Victorian Hot Rod Show, exhibition buildings in Melbourne Australia. Hope it turns out ok as it's my first attempt at uploading from Youtube????

    thanks Jazza

I wanted to post a thanks to Jazza for putting on local band Atomic Hi Tones clip where they are doing their version of Parramatta HotRod man at the recent Hot Rod Show.
It was a great day and fantastic display of cars but we couldnt stay too late due to previous commitments and only saw the first few songs by the Atomics. I thought this is going to be a great evening and it looks like it was - great sounds from the band.

    Wink Re: Hot Rod Rockin'

You’re very welcome Shane, thanx for the comment. The members of the organising committee were very impressed with the live band & dance concept. Although it was a bit hot at the exhibition building, the temperature was an insignificant problem compared to the overwhelming atmosphere of the place. There was a combination of meeting nice people, viewing Hot Rods of visual perfection, plus rockabilly music & dance. All housed in one of Melbourne’s most beautifully restored buildings. What a great feel. It was difficult to capture the atmosphere on film.
