    The Prairie Oysters

hi I just had to say something about this band. I go and see the prairie oysters nearly all the time and have been to nearly every one of their gigs and I havent seen a bad one yet. But last night at the Monash Hotel the band were just sensational. The pub was packed with easily 120 people. It was so cool seeing oyster shirts being worn everywhere. They mixed their songs with country and rocknroll and blues and also played classic like Creedence Hey Tonite and The Eagles Heartache Tonite. They played their new single about the farmes and the drought and every one stood still and quite listening to this song. I had goosebumps and I heard it already before. The audience clapped and cheered loud when they finished playing it... Its such a good song and the people really liked it and good for them for caring about the farmers. Later on they got requested to play Copper head road. They NEVER played it before and they brought the house down it was awesome. Rob (drummer) sang it and it kicked butt. Everyone went nuts. The pub rumbled hehehe...

I'm a bit bias because I know the band members personally but I wanted to share with you how much of a good time my hubbie and I had and how good these guys are and how good The Monash was last night
