The Fender Benders again packed out the Flipside Dance at the Hungarian Club, keeping the dance floor full all night long. For the first time the dance was held in the main hall so there was plenty of space for the huge crowd. It was James (lead singer's) birthday so everyone wished him happy birthday, plus a prize for the best rock n roll shirt judged by Caroline and hotly contested by some great shirts. Congratulations to the winner who received a DVD. During the band breaks, Milton played video clips of the original artists performing their hits from the 50's, 60's up to present day on a giant screen. Many of the clips have never been seen before and all are digitally enhanced so its great to see your favorite artist performing in their prime on the giant screen. You'll be amazed to see what they looked like in the 50's and 60's!. For the first time Milton did a 2 min trivia quiz with dancing clips from TV shows. How amazing to see Mr Ed, Gomer Pile, Gidget, the Adams family and many more dancing in the TV shows. Clothing for sale in the foyer and DVD's of the video clips for sale at the bar, so it was a great night of dancing, socializing, watching videos and shopping as well. A great night out! This dance just keeps getting better and better, so well done to Milton and Sue for providing us all with a great regular dance venue.
